About the Business

Akiiwan Beadwork began in 2019 after I set out to fix a pair of beaded earrings gifted to me by my cousin. The craft came very naturally and I started dreaming up designs every night. It became a beautiful way to bead for different causes that are important to me while also healing parts of myself. I have infinite gratitude for the opportunities and friendships made within the online Indigenous beading community.
