About the Business

Rainbow Fiber Co-Op is a Diné-led agricultural/wool co-operative established to improve the financial sustainability and equitable market outcomes for the remaining flocks of Dibé dits’ozí (Navajo-Churro sheep) on the Navajo Nation. Their mission is to close the gap between rural Diné shepherds and an e-commerce marketplace for their wool. The Co-Op sells wool roving and weaving yarns on their website rainbowfibercoop.org. 100% of the sales dollars go back into funding the operations for the Co-Op, continuing to buy wool at a fair price from Diné shepherds.
